Reduced water consumption and visual pollution

Plume suppression coil for cooling tower first tests have been made in 1976 at Cetiat (Lyon, France).

The intitial objective wa the decrease of the visible plume at the top of the cooling towers. Since, the reduction of water consumption and its treatment, as well as the total plume suppression are the new stakes in this technology.

Jacir developed and patented a unique system based of water regulation over the exchange surface, both for the opened and the closed cooling waters.

Numerous possibilities are available for the choice of materials according to the water quality and the applications.
